The Site

Wordish publishes free word-finder tools and word lists for games such as Scrabble, Wordle, and crosswords. The Site is not a review publication, not a defining dictionary, and not legal, educational, or professional advice. Results are for general informational use. Official game dictionaries, tournament books, and the rules of any club, app, or publisher control.

Advertising

The Site may display advertising, including Google AdSense. Ad partners operate under their own terms and policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy Site content in a way that harms the Site or violates law, except as allowed by ordinary browsing or search engine indexing
• Use the Site for unlawful purposes

We may suspend or block access if we believe these Terms are violated.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, and design are owned by Wordish or used under license. You may view and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission, except where fair use or other law allows.

The Site uses or links to third-party services, including:

• Hosting and related infrastructure
• Google Analytics and related measurement tools
• Google AdSense and related advertising, if ads are displayed

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. We do not sell personal information we collect.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content is complete or current.

Word lists and finder results may be incomplete or may include strings that a particular game, club, or publisher does not accept. Official game dictionaries and the rules of play control. If a source rejects a word, that source wins.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORDISH AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wordish from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
